Creating a Community Food Utility That Pays for Itself
Funded by the Morgridge Family Foundation, and with assistance from Denver-based implementation partner Metro Caring, NewImpact developed a tri-sector solution with the power to transform health and hunger outcomes in this country: a public community food utility that pays for itself.
Equitable Apprenticeships for BIPOC Young Adults
Funded by the Schultz family Foundation and Emes Project, NewImpact examined ways to improve equity and access to quality apprenticeships for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) young adults. Our researched yielded prime opportunity areas for innovation, including an in-depth analysis of industries and occupations with high potential to expand apprenticeship programs.
Expanding Job Opportunities for Older Americans
To address unique employment challenges faced by the 55+ demographic, NewImpact catalyzed a tri-sector solution utlizing all three sectors, with the goal of not only expanding job opportunities but also achieving corporate diversity, equity and inclusion objectives.
Faster Emergency Rental Assistance
With funding support from Schultz Family Foundation and the Emes Project, NewImpact’s consulting team was able to identify challenges and bottlenecks impeding the Covid-19 rental assistance cash rollout process—and devise a tri-sector innovation designed to help expedite critical fund disbursement.
Young Veteran Career Transitions
This NewImpact project, in partnership with the USO and support from the Schultz Family Foundation, addressed the wide range of challenges experienced by young veterans as they transitioned from active duty to civilian life. Our consulting team delivered a tr-sector roadmap geared toward enhanced career outcomes.
Better Serving Black Homebuyers
In partnership with the Black Home Initiative, convened by Civic Commons, this NewImpact-led project focused on better preparing low- to moderate-income Black households to purchase homes as a key lever in building generational wealth. Our tri-sector solution proposed a coordinated ecosystem of resource providers to create an improved, more trusted homebuying experience for Black households.
