Bold Ideas: Tri-Sector Innovation at Yale Ventures

Back in March, we joined an incredible group of thinkers, builders, and changemakers from across Yale’s ecosystem for a deep dive into Tri-Sector Innovation (TSI)—and we’re still thinking about the conversations that came out of it.

The session, hosted by Amy Kundrat and the Yale Ventures team, brought together a great mix of people and perspectives from across Yale’s innovation landscape. We’re grateful for the thoughtful discussion and the chance to explore what’s possible when we connect ideas, sectors, and ambitions.

The group included forward-thinking folks from:

Together, we explored how tri-sector strategies can help organizations unlock underutilized resources, align interests across sectors, and design smarter models that scale both success and impact. The questions raised were sharp, practical, and exactly the kind that move ideas into action.

We’re looking forward to returning this fall to keep the momentum going—and to keep pushing the edges of what’s possible through Tri-Sector Innovation.
